Format: 35 minute film for iTunes and Netflix, web TV series and shorter form content for social media platforms and brands digital platforms.
adidas and Oakley approached FRIDAY to create a media project that would be used to promote their snowboard teams and snowboard products. FRIDAY handled production, athlete participation and management, release, PR and distribution of the main element, a 35 minute snowboard movie, together with a series of associated content: Product related videos, a web series and various shorter form pieces of content.
The filming took place in some of the remotest mountains on earth with FRIDAY securing the services of the world’s best snowboarders. With extensive use of Cineflex and Shotover stabilisation systems, together with 4K cameras and a documentary crew, FRIDAY’s expertise with filming in harsh and challenging conditions with leading talent, meant that a high production value, story-led film could be produced ensuring credibility within the core market as well as more mainstream distribution.
